Samsung Time Change

Resetting the Clock on Your Samsung Phone System:

Because of their worldwide distribution, our Samsung phone systems are not programmed to automatically spring forward and fall back.  And in the United States where the schedule has changed in recent years, this choice saves you a visit.   To manually change the time on your iDCS, OfficeServ, or other Samsung phone system, just follow these instructions.

(Note:  To get these instructions in a downloadable
and easily printed Adobe .pdf format, click here.)

To reset the clock, follow the following steps:

1. Hit the "Transfer" or "TRSF " button.

2. Key in the number 200. (This tells it you wish to log in.)

3. It now requires a password. Enter 1234.

4. Press the number 1 to enable.

5. Hit the speaker or SPK button to continue.

6. Now, the screen will show:

201: CUS. PASSCODE
SELECT PROG. ID

Type in 505

7. Now, the screen will show two lines, one is "OLD" the other "NEW".  The first, "OLD" line shows the currentsettings for date and time.

The first digit is the day of the week (with 0 as Sunday, 1 as Monday, et cetera).  This is followed by the date and finally the time in 24-hour format.  So, if you wanted to set Monday, July 4, 2009 as the current date and it was 2:00pm, you would key in:

1070409:1400
(You don't have to dial the colon)

There is no backspace, so if you misdial just keep dialling until the end of the line, then dial 505 again and start over.

8. When you're done, hit the TRSF button again.

If you have any trouble, give us a call.
